OT: How many view this board

Saw this message when I logged in today:

There are currently 13 users browsing this forum. (1 members & 12 guests)

I have always maintained we have a readership way larger than our registered base.

While it's probably true that the lurkers outnumber the registered members, it should be kept in mind that at any given time some members might be viewing posts without being logged in. I've been a member here for 11 years and visit the forum on average every other day, but I'm rarely logged in while doing so.

Understood. You really can not absolutely prove anything, all you can do is document evidence. But if you add the above info to the number of profile visits, it's pretty convincing.

same here with myself.i do not usually log on and i look on here everyday.no offense intended,no ulterior motives,etc.just lazy.lol

I look in here and many other boards, mainly radio, as part of routine.
I would post only if I had something to offer.
Don?t have to sign in every time. I miss many of the old gang but glad to see the regulars????.

When I just logged on it said 1 member (me) and 32 guests. Thats pretty impressive.

In the Hostboard Moderators Control Panel there is a total views for each forum. This forum has 734851 views. Of course that is only since that option was put in place when we launched the first iteration of the control panel. Maybe there should be an option to place total views in the footer or header of the forum?
